The Donna Police Department is investigating after $14,000 worth of chairs were stolen from a funeral home, according to a news release.

The theft occurred on Sept. 18 at the Family Funeral Home, located in the 1700 block of E. Business 83.

In a Tuesday news release, police said an unknown suspect operating an older model brown pickup truck equipped with a brush guard and pulling a trailer stole 148 chairs from an open garage.
